UP Board 2026 Exam Schedule Revised
The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has officially revised the UP Board Date Sheet 2026 for both high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) students. The updated timetable is now available for download on the official website — upmsp.edu.in.
This revision aims to make exam arrangements smoother and prevent scheduling issues between major subjects previously set for the same shift.
Hindi Paper Shift Changed for Class 10 and 12
Earlier, both Hindi and General Hindi papers for Classes 10 and 12 were scheduled in the same shift, creating logistical challenges for nearly 4.3 million students across the state.
According to the revised plan:
- The Class 10 Hindi paper will be conducted in the morning shift on February 18, 2026.
- The Class 12 Hindi paper will take place in the afternoon shift on the same day.
- The Class 12 Sanskrit paper will be held in the second shift on March 12, 2026.
This update ensures better exam management and equal resource distribution across centers.

UP Board Exams 2026 to Be Conducted in Two Shifts
The UP Board 2026 examinations will be conducted in two daily shifts to accommodate the large number of candidates: – Morning Shift: 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM – Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
Students are advised to carefully check their respective subject timings and reach their exam centers at least 30 minutes early.
Over 52 Lakh Students Registered for UP Board 2026 Exams
A total of 5,230,297 students have registered for the upcoming UP Board 2026 examinations.
Here’s the detailed breakdown:
- High School (Class 10): 2,750,945 students
- Boys: 1,438,683
- Girls: 1,312,263
- Class 12: 2,479,352 students
- Boys: 1,303,012
- Girls: 1,176,340
This makes the UP Board one of the largest education boards in India, conducting exams for more than five million students every year.
