Tere Ishk Mein Trailer Launch: Dhanush stirred up the internet again when he called love an “overrated emotion” during the trailer launch of Tere Ishk Mein, leaving fans both shocked and amused.
Dhanush’s Bold Comment on Love at the Tere Ishk Mein Trailer Launch
The trailer launch in Mumbai turned unexpectedly lively when someone asked Dhanush and Kriti Sanon about their views on love. Kriti passed the question to Dhanush with a smile, and he hesitated for a moment. However, when the crowd teased him by saying he was “too young” to define love, he laughed and delivered a line no one saw coming: “I think it’s just another overrated emotion.”
The audience reacted instantly some gasped, others burst into laughter, because the remark arrived not long after his divorce from Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
Kriti quickly stepped in with a joke, saying that Dhanush’s character Shankar from the film would never agree with him. Dhanush replied, “I already said I am nothing like Shankar,” distancing himself from his onscreen persona.
Meanwhile, Kriti shared her own warm and optimistic take on love. She said she completely believes in it and described love as a space where people can remain unfiltered, unapologetic, and comfortably stupid together, something she considers very important.
