A major explosion occurred near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort (Lal Quila) Metro Station in Delhi, creating panic among locals and commuters. According to initial police reports, eight people have lost their lives, while twelve others are injured, several of them critically.
The incident took place when an e-rickshaw parked near the area suddenly exploded, sending shockwaves through the busy locality. The intensity of the blast was so high that nearby streetlights and parked vehicles were damaged, and the area was immediately sealed off by authorities.
